Malcolm Kersey, the organizer of the program, grew up in Manchester, England and came to Rochester in 1982 at the age of twenty-five to work for Xerox. Having played football, soccer, since the age eight, he played for all his school teams, local youth club (travel), and in a very high level county wide amateur league. Since moving to Rochester, he has played in the Rochester District Amateur League - Premier Division until he was thirty-six years old and still plays in the over forties division.

 

Mr. Kersey has coached for over sixteen years at all levels: youth, travel, amateur, Olympic Development Program (ODP) but for the past ten years has concentrated on working with young players five to ten years old.  He currently holds an USSF National Youth License, USSF B License and English F.A. Psychology certificate.
