Competitive Player: An individual who has played soccer recreationally and showed an interest and desire to play at a higher level. A player cannot enter into a competitive environment until the summer they graduate 2nd grade.
Facilitators: Is a responsible member of the soccer community that guides the youth soccer player. Under the direction of the Director of Coaching and staff, every facilitator receives training, full set of lesson plans, staff shirt and mentorship by an experienced facilitator.
Jamboree: A two hour event consisting of three to four small sided games against players from other development or travel organizations.
Micro Soccer: A general sign up program for any child who wants to play soccer from Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
Player Development Program: For the competitive player only. A two year comprehensive progressive training program for 3rd and 4th graders designed to help the INDIVIDUAL player develop their technical skills and prepare them for travel soccer. Coaching provided by hired certified coaches, NYSWYSA ODP staff and ex-pro players with assistance from WSA coaches.
Recreational Player: An individual who plays for fun and exercise.
