Winter Session Information

Winter Indoor Micro Soccer will be on six Saturdays starting in January 2008 (specifically 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9). Included in the Registration fee ($75 per player; non refundable) are the six co-ed sessions on WSA’s indoor turf field and a Micro Soccer t-shirt. Small sided games and activities develop the players.

Registration:  Opens 10/08/07  Online registration is required.

Uniform Pick Up: 1/3/2008 from 6-8pm at WSA’s indoor soccer facility

Facilitators Training:  Training will be available spring 2008

Facilitators Meeting:  1/3/2008 from 7-7:30pm at WSA’s indoor soccer facility in the class room. Lesson plans will be handed out.

Session Times:

  • Kindergarten session 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.  
  • 1st Grade session 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
  • 2nd Grade session 10:30 a.m. until 11:50 a.m.

[NOTE: 3rd & 4th Grade Micro soccer is only offered outdoors in the fall and spring.]

We ask for active participation of all parents in our programs. Volunteers are needed to help facilitate and distribute uniforms. Facilitators must attend a free US Youth Soccer U6-U8 Youth Soccer Coaching Module and then are responsible for the overseeing of the activities, games, substitutions, etc. When registering online, please indicate your willingness to help. In addition to parent Facilitators, older WSA players may also volunteer to help as Facilitators.
